Hargoth D' Bonesbane
It took me a while to get this up because I got sick for a week and the world slowed to a crawl and I wished for the end of all things. Nevertheless.... here is my orc guy. This would have been submitted to the character contest for Blizzard but I didn't get it done. I will post a turntable later today.

ReplyDeleteNICE! - I see what you mean by the faked detail on his right leg - the painting totally makes up for it. I really like the hair. I think you can still push a lot of the gradients and color changes within each color. You've kind of got it going on on the wood leg and the leather around his belly, but you have many large expanses that are occupied by a single color. since you've got a 1024 texture, you should capitalize on those extra pixels to get some more variation.
