just doing a quick test

Did a little texture test tonight. It took about an hour-ish. Just trying to infuse some decay and age into this doodle. I am sure Blogger will trash the image. oh well.

Another knife

This one took me longer than I wanted. I timed it from concept to finished model and it was a total of 12 hours. I had some trouble with those vines, but I am happy with the result.

Derakaran's edge:

This blade can only be used by Rangers and Druids. It grants the barer control over plantlife. The barer becomes immune to any natural poison regardless of the way it is delivered. The Barer can cast 7 wall of thorns spells daily and can merge with trees for up to 30 minutes. Barer can resist natural confinement like ropes or vines once a day.

A thing I thought lost

Last summer I crashed a hard drive. Like it was obliterated! So I thought I had lost this half done mech dude. Well, I found a flattened half res version a few months ago and I repainted it some here and there. I have some more ideas for it, but I thought I would post it.

The Blade of Harun-Ri

Blade of Harun-Ri
Filled with necromantic energy, the Blade of Harun-Ri will drain the life of its victims. Those cut with the blade will slowly loose life as the sentient dagger steals away the life force. Once cut a purify blood, cleanse, or greater healing spells will remove the draining effect. Until then the life loss will continue no matter how far away from the dagger the victim travels.

This model and texture went really fast. A few hours to model it, 15 minutes to UV map, 2-3 hours to texture. The texturing would have gone faster I think if I didn't have to pick at it 20min here and there. More to come.
